I responded to a poll on LinkedIn asking “What is your primary Client Relationship Management (CRM) software that you use?” and then took a peek at the results. I’ve been focusing a bit more on LinkedIn for sales people lately since it is the primary social network for companies and professionals. I thought the the information from a poll like this would be perfect for deeper analysis. Even though many of the answers were what I expected, I was caught off guard by one of the results.

Overall the numbers look great, there is still about 18 days to respond but with 1535 votes, this is an impressive number of people. CRM applications are what drives a company, customer engagement and pipeline in a way that helps executives and sales people keep track of what really matters and not focus on deals that are stalled and have a low chance of closing. Salesforce, Microsoft CRM and Oracle were the targeted choices with the option for people to choose “other” as well. Since there are probably a hundred other CRM applications that a company could use, these are the big 3 because of their enterprise adoption.

No CRM?

What surprised me in this this poll was that the creator added in a “None” option to the list. Makes sense but the number of people responding to the LinkedIn poll with this as an answer was concerning.

Of all of the responses, the largest number of “Managers” indicated that they do not use any CRM. None…zero. Though the poll is impressive for other reasons, I’d be interested in doing a follow up poll with this subgroup just to understand how they are managing their business.

We would like to thank the 50,000 sales professionals that use our product and all of you that took the time out of your hectic schedules to vote for us. Thank you!!

Dreamforce is the LARGEST event Salesforce hosts every year. People come from all over the US and even other countries to attend the Dreamforce 2010 event in San Francisco. This year will be no different with special guests like Bill Clinton and music by Stevie Wonder. Other than going to the keynotes, special sessions and booths, the Dreamforce parties are always a huge attraction.

InsideView is hosting and sponsoring a couple parties at Dreamforce all around our theme of seeing your leads in 3D. Our booth will be broken up into two parts. Half the booth will be in a theater set up with a massive 3D TV (we are giving this away at the end of the show) where we will have guest speakers talking about Sales 2.0 and Social Selling.

The big question is where are all of the Dreamforce parties? I was asking around and started collecting some places then I figured I would go to LinkedIn and and ask the question in the Dreamforce Group to see if there was already a list compiled. Sure enough, not only was a list made but it was also included with a map of the locations. I guess I could have recreated this with the information I already had but this is just too good of a resource. Click on the map for a full list of parties. Thank you Cindy Montgomery for posting this in the Dreamforce Chatter group!

Last year at Dreamforce, InsideView showed the power of Smart Agents and how it developed typical data into sales intelligence. This year InsideView is going a few steps forward to show companies how to get a 3D view of your customers and prospects to increase revenue. DreamforceIn3D.com

See Your Leads in 3D

Sales people are always looking for an edge. Looking for any piece of information that they can use to identify an opportunity or build stronger relationships through social media. With Twitter on its way to hitting 200 Million registered users, 80 Million professionals on LinkedIn and 500 Million on Facebook, sales people should be looking at this as an opportunity to drive opportunities through the roof.

InsideView recently kicked off the Social Selling University and the entire campaign is designed around showing sales people how to use social media in a way that builds their networks and generates new opportunities.

Dreamforce Resources

Dreamforce is only a couple weeks away and fans of the cloud are going to be looking for online resources that can keep them up to date with Dreamforce news.

InsideView has a few resources for our Dreamforce readers. The InsideView Facebook page will have a lot of information but we have segmented a few other Dreamforce Facebook places for you. The Dreamforce Event page already has over 850 people saying they will attend.

Dreamforce Parties

I’ve been trying to find a list of all the parties that people will be hosting during Salesforce but there has not been much posted on them. Maybe InsideView is ahead of the curve with our announcement of our joint party with ExactTarget on Wednesday at the Metreon and InsideView is hosting a party on Monday that will be sure to welcome all of our friends and customers coming in from all over the US.

InsideView will be at Booth # 924 in Dreamforce and you will want to come by early and get entered to win our event prize, a <del>50″</del> 63″ Samsung 3D ready TV.

We will also be breaking our booth into two parts. one or general foot traffic a demonstrations of the application and the other half will be used as a theater to where w will have guest speakers (to be announced) and more Social Selling University content.

In the age of social selling LinkedIn is the B2B sales network of choice. There are many blogs and sites that cater to the B2B sales professional but LinkedIn is by far the place most sales people flock to when trying to find out more information about who they should be talking with. The only limitation is that a normal LinkedIn account limits some of the information you can view, messages or InMails you can send and doesn’t let you connect with people that you do not have a direct relationship with.

Connect with more people on LinkedIn

LinkedIn is more than a place to keep your work history up to date and can be used for more communication than to just keep in contact with past colleagues. I have used LinkedIn for years as a way to contact and communicate with customers and new prospects and now I want to extend that opportunity to all of you. By upgrading your Linked account you get added to the OpenLink Network.

The OpenLink Network lets LinkedIn users find and contact other professionals who are interested in meeting new people. The OpenLink Network is available exclusively to premium account holders.

What a Paid Account Includes:

Social networking service LinkedIn is free, but if you choose to upgrade to a paid account, you have access to additional features. What are the four top advantages in updating your account?

1. Send messages directly, without waiting for an  introduction from one of your contacts (called “InMails”), which the  site says get a 30 percent response rate;

2. Access the Profile Organizer that allows you to track important profiles in a dedicated workspace,  organize profiles into folders and add details to contacts such as notes  and contact information;

3. View more profiles when you perform an advanced search (free accounts limit you to 100 search results); and

4. Access more specifics on who’s viewed your profile.

There are three types of paid accounts: Business, Business Plus and Pro. The Business account costs $24.95 per month and allows you three InMails per month, 300 profiles per search and five folders in the Profile Organizer. Business Plus costs $49.95 and allows you 10 InMails per month, 500 profiles per search and 25 folders in the Profile Organizer. The Pro account costs $499.95 per month, allows you 50 InMails per month, 700 profiles per search and 25 folders in the Profile Organizer.

More information on the specifics of paid accounts can be found here.

Let InsideView upgrade you to a Premium Business Account.

The Dreamforce event is one of the largest shows InsideView attends. Last year was a huge year for us at the Salesforce.com show and we came in style with a secret agent theme that James Bond would be jealous of. We didn’t have Q creating any super spy gadgets but we did give away an Aston Martin for a weekend and had some of the best conversations of the year with current customers and people looking for ways to make their sales teams more effective using social selling integrated with their Salesforce CRM.

This year we are full steam ahead with our booth design and working out the details for this years theme. What we wanted this year was a Dreamforce event that would jump out at people looking for new and better ways to integrate social selling and Social CRM to their busineses. ince we already know the stats on the number of Fortune 100 businesses involved in social media, having a sales team that knows how to target those customers is more important than ever.

InsideView has created a new Twitter list for this years Dreamforce ’10 that is also rolling up into the Dreamforce Daily web-paper. If you or someone you know should be added to our Dreamforce ’10 Twitter list, leave me a comment or send me a tweet. Since InsideView is all consumed with Dreamforce this year we also started a Dreamforce Facebook event.

InsideView already brings sales teams the most comprehensive social media content into your Salesforce CRM and we are going to continue bringing new content into your favorite social networks. Join us on Twitter or Facebook to get new content and special news on us and be the first to know what we are developing for this years Dreamforce ’10 event in December.

This post originally appeared on the Focus.com Group, where InsideView regularly contributes articles about leveraging social media and technology for sales organizations.

Companies of all sizes that focus on their sales teams have to put effort in building them into superstars. If the sales people are going to be unleashed into the world to follow up on leads, generate interest in your product/service they need some external efforts by the sales leadership to succeed. In order to work with prospects, move them through a buying cycle, and close deals, they need some training and enablement. I think the concepts of sales training and sales enablement are two sides of the same coin designed to make sales people much better than they are.

Sales Training

Training should be seen as a map or method of engaging with sales people on the art of sales. Answering questions like “How do you position the product?” or “What trigger events should you be looking for?”. Training is something that should help sales people become better sales people in a general sense. These skills will be what helps them in the short and long term with identifying opportunities and getting to decision makers. Most of this can be given to the sales teams by your own sales leadership and even supplemented by specific training classes offered by companies like Miller Heiman or Huthwaite. Teaching sales people how to do their jobs better falls within the sales training bucket for example InsideView sales went through a training recently by Vorsight designed around sales prospecting.

Sales Rep confidence and competency in delivering your message in a way that gets the customer to care enough to do something different… and then choose you… is the ultimate goal of Sales Enablement. Training is absolutely critical to making this a reality in the field. – Tim Riesterer of Corporate Visions

Sales Enablement

Part of a successful sales enablement process is training but enablement should be a deeper dive. A sales enablement process should give sales people tools, resources and technology needed to complete their jobs. I covered the best technologies for a sales team earlier. Sales enablement should involve more than just the sales team and should bring in resources from marketing, support and other departments that could produce information or content for the sales teams. I would argue that focusing on sales enablement is much more important than just a sales training because giving sales people the ability to sell weighs more than just teaching them to sell. A true sales enablement plan leaves sales teams with a map, compass and marching orders to drive revenue. Enabled sales people are highly successful compared to a sales person that just knows the landscape and is told to go find deals. I guess you could say that SalesView is a component of a great sales enablement plan.

The ‘tools’ bucket is potentially the most difficult because it ranges from collateral to calculators to case studies – and for each business/buyer there is a different mix of tools that will be the most compelling content. – Kirsten Knip of HubSpot

As I said earlier, they are two sides of the same coin and real sales enablement must have a training component in order to be successful. Management needs to make sure that sales training is implemented and the sales leadership should put the pieces in place that lets the sales teams feel enabled and empowered to do their jobs.

Tracking large companies as a sales person is not an easy task. If you’re targeting a large software company as a sales prospect you could spend days or weeks trying to find out who you need to speak with that can make a decision and even longer doing the pre-call research to get an idea of how to position yourself.

Nothing hurts more than to spend any length of time getting someone on a call and then finding out from them that they just announced a series of layoffs or that the company is cutting costs because of unhappy investors.

Now thats the bad side and as sales people we focus on the positive. Let me use Symantec (SYMC) as an example to the type of sales intelligence you could gather and help you make sure you are getting in front of the right people with the right message. Let’s say you are selling a new product designed to increase sales productivity and you want to call the Director of Inside Sales for Symantec and discuss how it can help them. Here is a copy of the Symantec Corporation listing from our InsideView Directory.

If you have InsideView installed in your CRM you can let the application do all of the leg work for you and get a wealth of information about the company without having to do any of the searching on your own. The Smart Agents tell you everything you need to know about news related to the company and executive staff and within the application you can see any of your LinkedIn connections that you have connected to the company. Having this aggregated data from different sources injected to your CRM gives you more data than any other sales productivity application available. But it doesn’t stop there.

Having company information is great but that’s only one piece of the puzzle and you still need someone specific to contact. SalesView lets you drill in or do a search on a specific title or name and get the contact name(s) for Symantec and pin point the person you need to reach out to and even give you some initial perspective on them. SalesView lets you see that David is a Director of Inside Sales for Symantec, provides all of his contact information and even highlights some of the social networks he is a part of like Facebook and Twitter and now you know that he’s a golfer and maybe that’s how you start building rapport with him. Or you can dig in one step further and see that he recently held a summit for BizSummits that covered “Sales Team-Motivation and Attitude Adjustments”.

Using SalesView for the aggregated sales intelligence lets a sales person know a great deal of information about a company all the way down to key decision makers in an organization. Adding in the functionality of a Social CRM lets you follow leads and contacts in more detail and get alerted to trigger events that can activate buying cycles. Having a completely integrated application pulling information form sources all over the internet is what will help you as a sales professional build your pipeline and know whats happening with your prospects and customers.

The Social Network is about the rise of Mark Zuckerberg and one of the most popular social media sites in the world, Facebook. I don’t need to tell social media junkies that they need to see this movie but someone in a sales position might not make this their first choice for a Friday night flick. There are many lessons for sales people in this movie and I’ll highlight some of them.

Find your niche

Zuckerberg had an idea or more of an epiphany that all college kids want to know is what their friends are doing, their relationship status and other everyday information and had no way of aggregating this information into one location. He realized that the creation of a site that contained everyone and let them share information across a tight network of ‘exclusive’ friends was something that would have a high level of appeal. With 500 million active users, I think he was right.

You sell a product designed for a specific market. If you are a good sales person you will understand that you within every market there are sub-markets that you might be able to penetrate quicker. Look for the sub market that isn’t getting a lot of attention or might be completely overlooked by your competition and embrace them. These companies could be you biggest advocates.

Test your network

Mark wanted everyone in Harvard to have access to Facebook but knew that getting the word out quickly to this site might take time so he used his friend’s connections with Phoenix S-K to get the launch off to a quick start. Soon the entire school was on Facebook and the phrase was coined “Facebook me”

I can’t tell you how many times my territory was changed or moved completely and I basically had to start from scratch and build a sales pipeline from nothing. I didn’t have a magic list of names to email but I did have my own network of people that I had collected over the years and collected in LinkedIn. If you haven’t started building your LinkedIn network then you should start today. I can’t tell you how valuable it has be over the years to have a ‘connection’ at a company or been able to reach out to someone I only knew only because they knew someone that knew someone at a company I was trying to work with.

Expand your network

Nothing bothered Mark more than when he went to the restaurant, saw his ex-girlfriend and she had no idea what Facebook was since she went to a different school. Since Facebook was an exclusive network for Harvard it made sense but Mark wanted the site to expand so he could get the attention of more people.

Once you have started getting a little traction and your network is working for you, start expanding. Use your Sales 2.0 skills, social media and your current connections to find other groups you can get in front of. Maybe it’s a webinar you can host or a physical event you can attend but whatever it is reach beyond your existing network and build relationships with other people.

Don’t care about the money [it will come]

One of the continuing threads through the movie as they were explaining the history of Facebook and the legal battle afterward was Mark’s disconnect from the millions of dollars he was making. It was never about the money and he never let the money go to his head. Some would say the money made him more egotistical but from the movie, he seemed to be an over confident, bordering on arrogant person well before Facebook was launched. In the end he was guy that had a great idea and didn’t let anything stand in his way of making turning that idea into a reality and growing well beyond what anyone would have imagined.

As a sales person you are focused on the money. Your manager is making you hit your goal and you have to chase the money anywhere you can. I’m not saying that you tell your boss to pound sand or anything but you should take a different position when it comes to your daily activities. How would your sales activities change if you didn’t have a number to hit or if you already had? If you say that you would take the rest of the week/month off and play Xbox then we have another problem. Sales professionals that consistently hit their quotas have it just as hard as most sales people but they take a different approach. There is a lot of work into bringing in deals and sometimes it seems impossible to hit the numbers you are given. If you focus first on building better relationships and networking to expand your reach, the money will come.

Sales professionals rely on many things to be successful, primarily the internal motivation to move a lead through the sales cycle using every available resource in order to provide value and close the deal. Technology plays a big part in that and it was an interesting string of responses to the question that brought this to my attention and create a post about this.

by photographer padawan

Not all CRM applications are equal

One of the first things an inside sales team needs to be more effective in sales is a first class CRM in order to manage leads, contacts and accounts in a way that can be measured and can integrate with other divisions of the company like support and marketing. Salesforce.com is the CRM solution of choice for many companies but there are other solutions out there that can be customized in many of the same ways like Netsuite, SugarCRM and others. Before investing in any CRM solution you need to have a good idea of what you want the CRM to do. Because no company uses (or should use) the out of the box CRM configuration, you need to make sure that you know what data besides name, address, company name and other basic information that you want to collect. Spending the money and time to customize your CRM will pay big rewards as your company grows and in some cases will be the reason many companies are able to grow quickly.

This data will be used by your inside sales team to know as much as possible about the lead, contact or account they are working on. Salesforce.com also has a very extensive Appexchange marketplace where you can get additional functionality for your Salesforce CRM around everything from Sales Intelligence (where SalesView can be found), Project Management and Finance Administration where our friends from BigMachines has an application to configure, quote and generate proposals. Netsuite has a marketplace for these extended applications as well called SuiteApp.

You should take the time to evaluate your CRM options and make sure you find one that can be used with your existing business process or enhance it. I am a huge proponent of dashboards to get a view of revenue, pipeline and other sales related activities. I could write an entire post on the best practices for this but you need to make sure that your CRM solution can create these dashboards so you can see your company from a high level and be able to drill into details and deals.

Inside Sales Needs to Send Email

I’m not talking about Outlook but that will play a part in this. Your inside sales teams should be given some access to a marketing tool that they can use that sends customized communications to their leads and contacts. I highlight “customized“ because there is nothing a customer or prospect will hate more than getting an email from a sales rep that looks generic and not positioned to them as an individual. Make sure you can create a series of templates that can be customized for the sales team so they are not having to write the exact same email 50 times a day with minor variations. With most CRM solutions this is an option but again, this is something you should look into as you consider a new technology for your inside sales team.

Online Meeting Software

Another must have for sales people is the ability to fire up a online meeting space. Sure there is more of a marketing and support need for these tools but I believe that sales people need this ability also. There are a few vendors out there like WebEx, Fuze Meeting and GoToMeeting that can give your inside sales people the ability to host a meeting and share their desktop with prospects and customers.

Enable Your Sales Team to be Successful

A company spends a lot of energy recruiting and building an inside sales team and as important as it is to hire effective sales people, you should invest in the best technology to make their jobs easier. This will give them the tools to engage with people on a more advanced level and also give management the ability to track the results of the sales team and make the process adjustments needed to drive even more revenue.

Leave a comment and let us know what other technologies you think an inside sales team should have at their disposal?

We went to 6 cities from New York to San Francisco and met with people from many different industries. The plan was to educate and discuss the changing landscape for companies trying to connect with customers on a deeper level, as well as learn how social media is shifting the power of buying decisions.

Customers are in the process of reinventing the buying process. Thanks to the democratization of sales intelligence due to the explosion of data on the Internet as well as easy access to “social conversations about businesses”, Customer 2.0 has nearly unlimited access to information on companies, products and people they are considering doing business with.

As a result, Customer 2.0 has all but stopped listening to vendors…and customer-to-customer conversations are becoming far more influential to the buying decision than traditional sales and marketing efforts. A new era has begun and the buying cycle is quickly replacing the sales cycle.

During the conversations we got some great feedback from customers that are using our products to generate leads and produce revenue for their business.

“In just a few weeks of using SalesView, our lead generation reps went from generating 20 appointments a month to generating 70″ – Experian

If you didn’t get a chance to meet us during the events, we will be posting summary videos. This is the summary video from the August 3rd event.

The ever-relevant concept of efficiency prevails during times of economic uncertainty. At InsideView, we spent the majority of 2009 developing our sales intelligence technology, so that our customers can do more with less and ultimately, close more deals faster. We’re proud of how far SaleView has come to be able to help salespeople be more informed and generate greater results. As we move into 2010, we reflect on 2009 and acknowledge the success of our clients and InsideView, while keeping sight of the ‘next steps’ for the coming year.

Over the course of 2009 InsideView received highly regarded accolades from the sales community, including :

JMP Securities Hot 100 List of best privately held software companies

High praises from the research firm Aberdeen Group in their sales intelligence study

Being ranked as the highest-rated application at the salesforce.com AppExchange

Being named alongside Google and Facebook by CRM Magazine as a “Rising Star” in companies pushing the boundaries of social CRM

In the latter half of 2009 we partnered with NetSuite and released an application to leverage social networking, including Facebook and Twitter, within both Customer Relationship Management and Enterprise Resource Planning, spawning the Social ERP category.

In May, InsideView also launched the Smart Cloud and Buzz Tab (Twitter CRM integration) to incorporate real-time social media monitoring into all major CRM applications, while significantly enhancing our technology’s integrations with both Oracle CRM On Demand and Siebel CRM applications in support of Oracle’s Social CRM initiative.

We carry this momentum into 2010, and have no doubts that the new decade will be an era of Sales 2.0 technologies to make the life of the sales professional more efficient, more productive and, most important of all, more successful.

The Aberdeen Group's recent report studied best-in-class sales deployments, resulting in an overwhelming support of SalesView for increased sales team performance.

The Aberdeen Group’s recent study deconstructed the best-in-class inside sales deployments, surveying 476 organizations and found that sales practitioners using SalesView outperformed other companies in both performance and the adoption of best-in-class practices (as defined in this Analyst Insight). Aberdeen notes the significant increase in overall sales performance, quota achievement, win/loss and lead-conversion rates when compared to companies not utilizing the application.

Aberdeen cites SalesView’s technology, aggregating sales intelligence from social media and traditional sources, in turn increasing sales productivity and velocity. The study credits SalesView’s CRM integration with providing the following benefits:

27% increase in overall productivity

32% more sales reps achieve their quotas

31% more sales reps see a better win/loss rate

18% more sales reps convert leads to the closing stage

According to Peter Ostrow, research director for sales effectiveness at The Aberdeen Group, “Access to sales intelligence, especially when directly fed into CRM/SFA systems, is clearly one of the major enablers for the best-in-class companies in the study. Sales teams who are deploying InsideView’s sales intelligence application are indeed achieving 32% better performance than non-customers, in terms of current lead conversion rates and hitting quota, and year-to-year growth in revenue and win/loss ratios.”

Perhaps the most impressive statistic from the Aberdeen study was this: despite the 2008 and 2009 recession, InsideView customers posted year-over-year gains in quota attainment, revenue, win rates, and lead conversion rates.

While we’ve been able to share individual success stories of InsideView customers, it’s exciting to have analyst research affirm the positive impact that Sales 2.0 technologies like SalesView have on sales organizations in aggregate.

September is a busy month for sales people… after the summer doldrums many of us have to squeeze an entire quarter’s worth of deals into the final month of Q3. Well it turned out to be a very busy month for the InsideView development team, too. Our September release includes two new CRM integrations, the addition of Jigsaw contacts, improved industry search, and email notifications for mobile devices. Phew!

SalesView for Oracle CRM On Demand
We publicly unveiled our Oracle integration at the OpenWorld Social CRM Inner Circle. InsideView’s externally-focused ‘socialprise‘ capabilities are a perfect compliment to Oracle’s internally-focused ‘social CRM‘ capabilities. The Oracle partnership marks our fifth major CRM integration in just the last six months. SalesView is fast becoming a ubiquitous sales productivity application across the leading CRM platforms (Salesforce.com, SugarCRM, Landslide, Microsoft, Oracle).

SalesView for Oracle CRM On Demand

SalesView for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
We publicly announced our Microsoft integration at Interop New York 2008. We’re thrilled to bring SalesView FREE to all Microsoft Dynamics CRM customers, whether hosted or on-premise. Microsoft has also proven to be a strong supporter of socialprise, having recognized early on the value of tapping into social media to drive enterprise sales.

SalesView for Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Jigsaw contacts for manager & director titles
Just a few weeks after announcing an expanded relationship with Jigsaw, we have added director and manager level titles from Jigsaw to the SalesView database. The addition of Jigsaw provides user-generated content, along with editorially maintained content from Hoovers, D&B, and Reuters and Web crawler content from ZoomInfo. Jigsaw brings several key strengths to the table including availability of lower level management titles, email addresses, and direct dial phone numbers.

Jigsaw contacts

Improved industry-based company search
Our new industry classification makes it easier than ever to identify prospective customers by vertical/industry. You will find the new industries under Find >> Company Criteria.

New industry search

Notifications for text-only mobile devices
If you haven’t yet made the switch to a smart phone that support HTML emails, you can delay that purchase a bit longer. InsideView daily alerts are now readable on text-only mobile devices. (And for those of you who are used to viewing the nice HTML emails on your iPhone, you still can!)

SalesView just got even better today with our announcement that we’re deepening our partnership with business information and data services powerhouse Jigsaw (www.jigsaw.com). We will now be further integrating data from Jigsaw’s contact and company information directory into SalesView. The folks at Jigsaw have found innovative and incredible ways to collect and leverage user-generated content contributed by its global membership, which amounts to 9 million business contacts and 1 million companies. Jigsaw delivers low-cost and easy access to high-value business information that can be used to identify key decision makers and people for purposes such as sales, marketing, recruiting and customer service. Integrating this wealth of information into the SalesView application means raising the bar for the level of value that the next generation of web-based sales offerings can deliver. Working with great companies like Jigsaw is really what it’s all about for us here at InsideView and we’re very excited to be partnering with them to extend the value of the socialprise.

You know that guy who selflessly toils away at the grill while everyone else at the picnic enjoys the good food and conversation? That would be our development team. Yes, during the dog days of summer when many of us in sales are enjoying vacations or laying by the pool, the InsideView engineers have been busy manning the grill and serving up some hot new features. When we fired up the grill earlier this month our focus was on making SalesView even smarter and easier to use. The ingredients? First we started with some great user feedback from our growing SalesView community (thank you!) and then we added a little secret sauce from the InsideView team.

Here’s a quick run down on some of the things we’ve been cooking up!
1. Connections Get Kicked Up a Notch
We moved a step closer to perfecting our recipe for connection analysis using what we call entity triangulation. By comparing and merging executive profiles from different data sources, we maximize your ability to leverage relationships. You also get the very best information that sources like Reuters, Hoovers, D&B, and ZoomInfo have to offer — all in one executive profile.

2. Fire Up SalesView Search From Your CRM
Our latest Salesforce mash-up allows you to search SalesView without leaving your CRM. Not finding any search results in your Salesforce? No problem. Use the new SalesView search box in the left-hand navigation to find the company or executive you’re looking for (and export them back into your CRM with a single click!)

3. Capture All the Flavor of Agents in Your CRM
Wish you could easily save the key events and insights found by SalesView’s Smart Agents? Well now you can. Our Salesforce mash-up now allows you to save Agent events as a Task or Note so that you can easily follow up on them. You can also email Agent events to other members of your sales and marketing team without having to leave your CRM.

These are just some of the updates you will notice in SalesView. We’ve also done some great work to make company and executive searches even faster. Check it all out for yourself by logging into SalesView today.

While summer is winding down in most places, our summer is just hitting it’s stride here in the Bay Area. And that means you can look for more great features hot off the grill. In the coming months you will see some great new capabilities related to CRM integration, new content sources, and additional breakthroughs in the use of social media in the enterprise.
